At DNA File Master, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any personal data we may collect. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle information when you use our application.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

DNA File Master is a client-side application. We process your files entirely within your web browser using in-browser tools like FFmpeg.WASM and PDF-Lib. Your original files are never uploaded to our servers for processing.

2. Google Drive Data

When you use the "Import from Drive" feature:

• We only access the specific files you select using the Google Picker.
• Your files are downloaded directly from Google’s servers to your web browser.
• We do not store your Google account credentials or your file contents on our permanent storage.
• Data access is limited to the session currently active in your browser.

3. Use of Google Scopes

We request the following scopes to provide the file import service:

• .../auth/drive.file: To allow you to select and open files from your Google Drive.
• .../auth/drive.readonly: To permit the browser to download the content of the files you have selected.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We may use local storage and cookies to save your application preferences (e.g., dark mode settings or tool order). We do not used these for tracking or advertising.
